Tanzania Loyal Tour:

The government of Tanzania has been doing much efforts to promote and announce the potentialities that could contribute much on bringing foreign visitors and tourists in Tanzania.

In recent years,Tanzania has witnessed a great statistical drop in entry of foreign visitors to its tourism attractions. This  drop of foreign  tourists in the country is said to be caused by the pandemic eruption  that has affected much this sector. COVID-19 eruption in 2019 affected it much.

The government aims at showing the unique cultural practices and lifestyle that are the core moral basis of various tribes found in the country.

(II) Geographical attractions.

These are the special areas where tourists land for tourism purposes such as national parks, mountains like Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, lakes and museums .

(III) Cultural attractions.

These are the traditional practices that act as potential attractions to foreigners. One of these traditional practices is the culture of Masai located in nothern parts of the country especially  near and  in Some parts of Ngorongoro and Serengeti parts which also are the potential tourism  attractions .

(IV) Investment attractions.

The government also aims to promote and attract foreign investors not the country. This aim goes in hand with promoting tourism .All together aim at increasing the contribution of income to GDP. Tourism sector contributes almost 17% of the budget.

Under president Samia Hassan Suluhu the government aims to increase the contribution of tourism sector in the government budget. So on doing it ,she has chosen to promote and announce Tanzania outside through the Tanzania loyal tour.

The loyal tour is the movie that has been prepared and launched by the president of the United Republic of Tanzania . The aim is to announce and promote Tanzania internationally and expose all tourists' attractive centers in Tanzania.

Why loyal tour movie?.

 The government of the United Republic of Tanzania under president Samia Hassan Suluhu has committed to promote Tanzania internationally. 

The government has chosen to promote Tanzania via the loyal tour for several reasons that it has given  including:

-To  find the most best performing tourism sponsors .

-To to enhence the performance of tourism sector which has dropped much due to COVID-19 in recent years.

-To find the most effective way to promote tourism sector which is now through digital platforms .

-To expose all tourism attractions that could bring more visitors in Tanzania.

-To show how much the government has commitment on to build and invest in tourism.

-Tourism sector is among the best sectors that contribute in GDP so the government try to refocus on it and among other reasons.

President Samia Hassan Suluhu recorded at various National tourism attractions in Tanzania mainland and Stone Town reserves in Zanzibar.

 President Samia Suluhu Hassan began filming the film on August 29, 2021 with the aim of promoting Tanzania internationally through exposing potential tourist attractions.

 While filming the film with the most famous film director Peter Greenberg, President Samia visited and presented to visitors the various tourist, investment, arts and culture attractions available in the country.

  The film is launched in USa and it will be shown on prominent televisions in the USA at various times throughout the year from April 18 this year.

Some US TVs confirmed that they will be showing the 'Royal Tour' film at various times throughout the year from April 18, 2022, from this date  started to broadcast their schedule.

 "Here at Channel 11 (WTTW) in Chicago Illinois, one of the largest channels in the public broadcasting system (pbs) opened live on April 18. The station is watched by over 3.5 million people.  Another list is coming, ”wrote Dr Abbas the top government leader in the sector.

Why launching the film in USA?

 Recently, during a meeting with US Vice President Kamala Harris, President Samia told her that Tanzania has many investment and tourism opportunities and that she had gone to launch the film in the US believing it would reach the world.

 The 56-minute film shows tourist attractions in Tanzania,the largest country in east Africa.Various attractions  such as Mount Kilimanjaro, the  Seregenti National Park and Tanzania-Zanzibar attractions like tourist hotels including the Indian ocean attractions in  Pemba island.

 President Samia Suluhu Hassan the film steering with  Peter Greenberg, a USA famous journalist and director from the CNBC television station in the United States conducted an open talk with president Samia Hassan Suluhu during launching the film.

    The film will and intended to  revolutionize tourism sector in Tanzania 

Gerson Msigwa, Tanzania's top government spokesman, who spoke to the Kiswahili United Nations channel  after its launching  in New York, USA , he said: "This film is a lifesaver for our country because   you know we're fighting for "international long - term platforms on how to advertise tourist attractions. 


 Gerson Msigwa explained the COVID-19 situation and efforts taken to resume the normal situation in the country. Tanzania made significant progress in tourism from 620,000 tourists when COVID-19 came and it had a profound impact on us which dropped much the entry of tourists in the country, but after taking a few steps, we followed the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), now the number of tourists has increased.  . "Many tourists believe that when they come to Tanzania, they are safe," said Mr Msigwa.

 "Tanzania has been cited by some studies as the second largest country in the world for major tourist attractions"

    He said that although there are such attractions, there is still a challenge for people to be aware of the existence of such attractions so the government has decided to  promote tourism through the film to a larger international audience.

 Promoting tourism through film makers will ultimately increase the number  of tourists from 1.7 millions of foreigners  up to 5 million per  year .

    He said the number is growing and the film will lead them to the dream of the country to reach 5 million tourists per year. 

Many Tanzanians and other tourism coodinators from  out of Tanzania suggest that the Tanzania loyal tour movie will ultimately change the direction of tourism industry and that it will start contributing much in the annual government budget. All attractions such as national parks , national museums, Mount Kilimanjaro, the country beauty like valley , animals and other natural attractions are all included in the movie.

The movie is launched nationalwise at various regions of Tanzania mainland (Kilimanjaro,Arusha,Dar es salaam and other regions)

The loyal tour movie also launched in Zanzibar Island where it is said to promote many tourism attractions since Zanzibar has been a famous tourism centre in East Africa.

As the slogan of the government of Democratic Republic of Tanzania,we all call upon foreigners to visit Tanzania where they never regret to come again and again.
