Basic ingredients.
Let's see first the basic soap making ingredients that are must be there for soap making process.
1. water.
Water is for preparing lye. caustic soda + Water = lye.
2. Oils/fats.
Choose oil or fat that can solidify for example palm, coconut, mise, moss etc. or any of the animals. The oil is for making the soap itself ie oil + Lye = Soap.
3 caustic soda.
This you will find in the shop store. And caustic soda has the following crucial contribution to soap making process.
> It combines oil and water into one substance As it is well known that oil cannot be mixed with water so the special effort is required to combine oil and water.
> To make the soap freeze. Caustic solution (caustic soda + water) solidifies the soap into a single cohesive substance.
> causes the foam to occur. Lye or caustic solution in making soap, yes causes the soap to release the foam you see in the soap.
> remove dirt on clothes. Lye Yes removes impurities from clothes. Dirt combined with soap made from lye (caustic soda + Water) melts and loosens clothes.
4 Glycerine.
Its function is to soften, prevent bruising and this is what makes the soap soft and slippery.
5 perfumes.
This brings out the aroma of the soap. There are many types of perfumes, so choose what you prefer.
6 water.
Soluble chemical solution ie water + caustic soda gives lye.
7 salt.
This is the common stone, common salt or table salt.

A caustic solution is a chemical compound that occurs after water mixes with caustic soda.
How to prepare a caustic solution (Lye)
This is a very sensitive step and requires great care.
Why does this step require so much attention?
A caustic solution is a very dangerous chemical as it can irritate or burn the skin if you hold it in an empty hand.
So when you prepare this you wear gloves and a mask. I'm not scaring you but I want you to be careful.
For the experienced one, he or she can prepare it anyway but it is best to be careful.
To prepare a caustic solution.
Take a bucket and then put freshly filtered and non-salty water. That is, not just to draw from the well and start mixing, use the clean ones from the tap. Or if you take it from the well just calm after boiling or clean it.
After putting the water in a clean bucket (water should be quantitative depending on the amount or quantity of soap you want to make for us to decide 2.5 litres of water)
Put one kilogram of caustic soda into 2.5 litres or even 3 litres.
When you put caustic soda stir in one direction for 15 minutes then let it cool for 24 hours, You can leave for up to 5 days but it should be from 24 hours.
Of course, everything is understood in the form of a caustic solution.

After preparing the caustic solution or lye and leaving it to cool for more than 24 hours, we now re-prepare our chosen oil to use either palm or coconut oil or even animal fat as long as it freezes.
How to prepare and make saponification?
Take 4 litres of oil and place it in a bucket or special container to make your mixture.
Then add one tablespoon of glycerine to the oil and also add one teaspoon of perfumes to the mixture with half a teaspoon of salt. Start stirring in one direction. Then take 1 litre of the caustic solution (lye) you have prepared and started pouring it slowly into the oil while stirring the mixture in one direction. This will result in a porridge.
Take the porridge and pour it into a mould and leave it for 12 hours or more to solidify.
After there, your soap will be made hence use it or do packaging and take it to the market
